At London Health Sciences Centre, I work closely with the Corporate Communications department to develop content for LHSC’s social media channels. I focus on my department of Capital Redevelopment and Environmental Operations, sharing good news stories, tips, and information about the department activities with Maintenance and Repairs, Safety, Cycling to LHSC, and many more areas to post.

I begin with interviewing staff in my department, identifying news stories or “did you know?” items, and find or produce photos and videos along with text to send to Corporate Communications. I have an overall plan in place with regular posts, with special blasts planned for feature weeks like Portering Week and Canadian Healthcare Engineering Week.
